Metastorm Engages in OEM Agreement with Align
Metastorm BPM® Software to be Part of Align Asset Point® Platform for Technology Infrastructure Management
BALTIMORE, MD – October 21, 2008 – Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced it has formed a strategic partnership with Align and its Asset Point Platform for Technology Infrastructure Management. Under this agreement, Align has become an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partner and has integrated Metastorm BPM into its Asset Point software platform.
Asset Point is a unique platform used by top-tier financial institutions and Global 2000 firms to enable the effective and efficient management of IT assets and infrastructures. Metastorm BPM technology has been embedded as the foundation of the Asset Point ProcessPoint module, establishing business process management and execution as key components of overall IT Service Management. With these capabilities, organizations can document how current IT asset management processes work, develop a plan to make them more efficient, reduce cycle times by enforcing rules, ensure compliance with best practices related to performance objectives, and expose IT assets and make them available for re-use.
