• Web Interface & User Dashboard – A web-based user dashboard provides a single view into the Metastorm BPM Suite . The dashboard allows users to participate in, manage, monitor, and analyze processes from any location that has internet access.
  
  
• Enterprise Portals - Access to applications and information through web-based portals has become a common method of controlling access to critical tasks and simplifying the user experience – both for internal employees as well as customers and partners. Metastorm offers solutions that expose Metastorm BPM’s full functionality through enterprise portals. Organizations that use Microsoft® SharePoint® can deploy Metastorm BPM functionality via SharePoint Web Parts. Organizations that use Java-based portals like IBM® WebSphere®, SAP Netweaver™ Portal, Vignette®, and others can deploy Metastorm BPM functionality via JSR 168-compliant portlets. Metastorm portal solutions support user-configurable dashboards that enable you to monitor critical data, access all of your work items within a process, collaborate with other Metastorm BPM users, and achieve full life-cycle visibility across multiple processes.
  
  
• Outlook® Portal – Because many organizations standardize on Microsoft applications on the desktop, Metastorm offers a full-featured process client for Microsoft Outlook. Using this application, users can access processes on Metastorm BPM directly from their Outlook desktop. In addition, the Metastorm BPM Process Client for Outlook allows users to take process work “offline” and then synchronize back to the Metastorm BPM server when they are reconnected to the network.
  
  
• 2007 Microsoft Office system - Metastorm BPM Client for Office enables full participation in Metastorm BPM processes through 2007 Microsoft Office system applications. Users access the power of Metastorm BPM directly through Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications. The Client takes advantage of advanced Office 2007 features such as Ribbon bars and tabs, task panes, galleries, ScreenTips and Smart Tags to provide full access to all Metastorm BPM features. Metastorm BPM Client for Office allows users to participate in processes using the applications that they use for their day to day operations, significantly reducing the learning curve and maximizing the benefit of BPM.
  
  
• Mobile Access – For people who travel, work remotely, or need instant access to information twenty-four hours a day, mobile devices have become critical to staying on top of time-sensitive business activities. Often, delays in response equate to lost revenue, dissatisfied customers, or a slowdown in the business. Many of Metastorm’s customers have expanded their user interface offerings to include mobile client devices. These can be purchased from a Metastorm Partner or custom-developed during a consulting engagement. One of the benefits of deploying processes on the Metastorm BPM Suite is the ability to be alerted to exceptions, sign into the system, and take action from a mobile device. The inherent flexibility of Metastorm BPM allows customers to establish a mobile device interface (e.g. Blackberry® device) as a standard for employees who travel frequently or are critical to a process.
